Colleen and I were instant best friends. We recognized immediately qualities in each other that we both valued, beginning with our creative energy and sense of humor. Over the years we traveled the country to seminars and conventions, shared season tickets to both Broadway and Ballet at the Performing Arts Center, attended family events and even got our hubbies to go on “double-dates” every now and then. We didn’t meet until we were in our 40s but had great adventures over the next 23 years. It’s been 6 years now that my dearest friend ever lost her battle to cancer. Hardly a day goes by when I don’t think of her – I still miss her so much.
I’ll add the journaling in the morning.
