  1. We are kindred spirits! Except because my family loves sitting in the yard, I think I should, too, so I use a lot of sunscreen and bug spray. I love the large photo. You have a beautiful view.

  2. Kathaleen Prunty

I love all the journaling on the top half and the large photo on the bottom half. Great layout

  3. I neglected to post my journaling and supply list, so here goes:

    PROMPT: Strawberry Fields Forever (Song)
STORY: Scrapbook a page about how you connect with nature.
TECHNIQUE: Use strawberries or fruit embellishments.

STORY: I documented how I connect with nature.

The journaling reads: I connect with nature, visually. Preferably, just visually. I don’t spend much time outside. First, there’s the humidity. And bugs. And temperature extremes. Anything outside of 65 to 70°F is extreme.

I have a decent back yard. I don’t go there. That’s the dog’s domain, though I have no doubt he would share. He’s a sweetheart. I have a decent front yard. I cross it to go to the mailbox.

I love going to the beach! I like to be there, in my air conditioned travel trailer, or at my WorldMark resort. I don’t like to lie out on the beach. Heat and humidity again. And sand. I’ll go walk on the sand, some, but I don’t want it in my swimsuit or my hair or my underwear or my shoes. And that sun! Beach umbrella rentals are expensive. I’ll swim in the ocean, some, but there are sharks and jellyfish and crabs and other (un)savory creatures. Seafood tastes good on my plate, but I don’t want to meet it in the surf. I’d rather go to the indoor pool while at the beach.

I love seeing deserts and jungles and mountains. Put me in a car, or on a train, or on a tour, and I’ll visit them all! I don’t want to venture out, unenclosed, where scorpions, snakes, and bears roam.

I love camping! We have a 28’ North Trail travel trailer. Air conditioning for the heat and humidity. Screens for the bugs and creatures. No sand, almost. If it’s comfortable outside (you know, 65 to 70°F, no bugs), I’ll sit in my gravity chair with a margarita or a glass of wine and read a book, for a while. But before long, I’m back indoors, reading at the table, under the A.C. vent, looking at nature through the window, outdoors, where nature should be.

    Supply list:
    * This is a digital layout using the Project Life app.
    * I started with the Big Shot 27 template.
    * I used the Moments Like These collection.
