My path to scrapbooking started with flipping through photo albums as a kid. I officially found the name for my paper + photo + tidbits passion in 1999. When my first child was born I was gifted a scrapbook to document baby’s first year. That is when the word “scrapbooking” entered my vocabulary.

I adores getting giddy over pretty paper. I love to be in a space with others who can do exactly the same thing! When Alice Boll decided to step away from leading ScrapHappy in early 2026, I was honored to be able to take the reins. Now I can continue to run this ScrapHappy space for paper lovers world-wide to come together and nerd out over paper!

While scrapbooking starts with paper, it ends with memories captured. That is the real heart of scrapbooking. Finding joy and comfort in flipping through albums continues to be a grounding experience. I will encourage you to tell all your stories. From the happiest to the saddest; all stories make up a complete life.

I live in south west Washington state with my husband and three cats. Our “nest” isn’t quite empty yet as one child cohabitates and one is off at university five hours away. Luckily one child has fully launched and I’m starting to see the empty nest life off in the distance.
