Top 40

When you think Off the Charts, do you think lists?

Anyone else compulsively follow Casey Kasem’s Top 40 as a kid? Make a playlist for the top moments of your life. Feeling adventurous? You can create a playlist to share on 8 Tracks.

Today’s fun page is brought to you by Heather D:

And yes, all those cards flip over:

You can find her playlist on 8 Tracks under Memory Lane. She says:

This page took the longest for me to make, since I wanted to try to create a playlist that really captured the feel of each era in my life so far. It was fairly simple, once I got going with an attempt at hand lettering the title, a tiny bit of spritzing, and lots of journaling and washi tape. I think I may be making a playlist for each era, since there were so many songs I wanted to include.

And about the washi and Project Life cards– I don’t know about you, but I have so many that using twenty of them on one page really didn’t seem to be a bad idea. I stuck with one line though, to make sure they went together well. There’s no reason to re-invent the page every time I make one.

Now it’s your turn to make a page, and add it to the Flick gallery. Make sure to spread a few comments around while you’re at it!

  1. Heather – this is wonderful! It reminds me of the little tabletop jukeboxes you see in retro diners and how you flip the tabs to see the different song choices. Such a great way to use up PL cards and get a lot of journaling on to a page too!

  2. Nice idea – I see a scraplift in my future. Today is a work day, broken up by grandson’s concert and choir tonight, so probably another day…
