Day Four: I’ve got a secret
Aren’t women amazing? You may not be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound but some days just leaving the house fully dressed is an accomplishment! Be playful on your page today. Perhaps you were the hopscotch queen of your block in second grade. Find a photo from that era & give yourself a tiara! There are so many cute products out there that can be difficult to use but now is your chance – you have permission to be playfully creative.
I had the perfect paper to talk about my super power of target shooting! I played with some Dylusions Ink Spray to colour the wooden title and embellishments. I printed my photo in sepia, which matched perfectly with this paper. I love the little bit of gold embellishment too!
The story: Many years ago – ’95 or ’96 Jonas and I participated in a turkey shoot in Mayerthorpe. No, you don’t actually shoot turkeys – just targets. It was with the air rifles from the cadets – the ones I sighted in when I was competing in rifle competitions. I won! Jonas was so proud I kicked the butts of the old farmer that didn’t think a girl could shoot, and proud I brought home the frozen turkey!
