“You’ve Got a Friend in Me” by Randy Newman is the theme song of Toy Story. Actors Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear) and Tom Hanks (Woody) have also developed a friendship through their years of working together. 

Story: Share a friendship story. Were you friends right away, or did your friendship develop over time?

Technique: Go to “Infinity and Beyond” on your layout by adding something from out of this world on your layout.

These photos are from a trip to Mexico in February, 2019. We traveled with a couple we have been friends with for 24 years, and this was our third trip together to this same destination. These seemed like the perfect photos for this story prompt-in fact, we met in 1995 when Toy Story was released!
 
The materials are all from the August 2019 Hip Kit Club kit, and the layout was inspired by a Page Maps sketch. I loved the puffy label sticker next to the photo of my DH laughing: “it’s a long story,” isn’t that the truth when it comes to long friendships? Sorry-I can’t let you in on the joke!
 
Inspired by the technique challenge I used many of the elements from Pink Paislee, Paige Evans Truly Grateful collection: the starry background paper (Paper #13), paper with different suns (Paper #14), tag and flower (mixed ephemera pack) and some of the puffy stars and a puffy sun (Puffy Phrase Thickers). The gold frame is from Pretty Little Studio, Indian Summer.
