Day 19
Prompt:
Day 19: Catch Me if You Can: 2002 Catch Me If You Can, The film is based on the life of Frank Abagnale, who, before his 19th birthday, successfully performed cons worth millions of dollars by posing as a Pan American World Airways pilot, a Georgia doctor, and a Louisiana parish prosecutor. His primary crime was check fraud; he became so experienced that the FBI eventually turned to him for help in catching other check forgers.
Story: In the film Frank Abagnale lives a swanky life, traveling to great locations, eating fancy food and meeting high powered people. Scrapbook about a time you were living the ‘good life’ and what that looks like to you!
Technique: Just as Tom Hank’s character searches for Mr. Abignale, search your surrounding for a ‘found item’ to use on your layout. (ie. receipt, paper clip, packaging, ‘forged cheque’)

When I saw this prompt I was overwhelmed with ideas because I feel I’ve certainly lived “the good life” in many ways. But swimming in the buoyant turquoise waters in Bora Bora certainly stands out as a time I fully realized how fortunate I was to be alive and in that place with the love of my life. It was a few years ago but the feelings are close to the surface as I write this. Sweet. Joy. Happy. My “found object” is a charm from a thread necklace my granddaughter made me when she was 8. It looks a bit Polynesian to me so I thought it’d work! I used mostly (all) Cocoa Vanilla Studios from the October Mind the Scrap kits atop Marmalade Smash cardstock also from the kit. I wasn’t sure it’d all work together but I love the result! Love the bendable copper wire that came in the kits and my & was an easy and fun touch to add.
