Day 29

Prompt:

Day 29: A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood: 2019 This film is based on the Esquire article Can You Say…Hero? by Tom Junod. Matthew Rhys stars as Lloyd Vogel, a journalist for Esquire who is assigned to profile beloved television icon Fred Rogers (Tom Hanks). Vogel’s perspective on life is transformed after his encounter with Rogers.

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood (sometimes shortened to Mister Rogers) is an American half-hour educational children’s television series that was created and hosted by Fred Rogers.

Fun Fact: Tom Hanks now trolls Rita Wilson with Mister Rogers lyrics after making A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

As soon as I saw the prompt, I knew what I wanted to scrap about.  But I had to get photos first.  Our town nickname is “Festival City, USA” and we throw a parade or festival for just about everything.  We are home to the Utah Shakespeare Festival (the first and biggest festival).  But our town has been invaded this month with wood cut-out sheep in preparation for the Sheep Parade and Livestock Festival this last weekend.  I would truly miss all the celebrations in our neighborhood if we moved away.
