‘Tis the holiday season shopping for a scrapbooker can be difficult. Not anymore!

If you’re shopping for a scrapbooker, or you ARE a scrapbooker and need to send a few ideas to your friends and family… this is the list you need!

Please note: This post contains affiliate links. If you choose to shop using the links that would be very appreciated and it will not cost you extra. All of the items are selected because they are great quality and meet my standard of quality. Thank you for your support!

1. TIME

The number one gift most scrapbookers need is TIME!

Time. One of the best things a scrapbooker can get this holiday season is more time. Perhaps that means having someone come in to clean the bathroom or do the laundry. It might mean family members chipping in a bit more. No matter how you find more time it’s the perfect gift!

2. TOOLS

I recently tried a Foil Quill Freestyle and I’m IN LOVE!!! This is the hand-held version of the Foil Quill that you use in your electronic die cut machine. I love being able to add a little metallic shine to my projects and it’s so easy to use.

This set can be purchased together, or you can buy them separately.

A BIG Tool! The Silhouette machine is a guaranteed win for any crafty gal. This machine allows you to cut out custom images and titles for your layouts and is very versatile and easy to use. If you’re looking to make a big impression the Silhouette Cameo is a sure bet! Whether you want to back cut files, create titles, or create your own embellishments this is what you need.

Then…

Silhouette America – Cameo Version 3 – Electronic Cutting System – Pink

If you’re splurging for an electronic die cut machine… you’ll really want the Foil Quill tools for your new machine. These tools fit most electronic machines such as Silhouette, Cricut or Scan N Cut.

Using the tool you’ll use your machine to draw metallic foil on to your projects.

4. EMBELLISHMENTS

Embellishments are such a fun part of scrapbooking. When I’m scrapping my Christmas stories I’m always looking for red and gold, so here are some of my favourite red and gold finds!

6. ALBUMS

Scrapbook Album:

A very useful idea for scrapbookers is albums. So many scrappers have stacks of layouts because they don’t have enough albums. These 3-ring binders from We R Memory Keepers are great quality and are available in a lot of gorgeous colours. A good quality album is always a great idea!

7. ADHESIVES

Adhesives: Whether you scrapbook, craft or just need to stick stuff together this paper tape is what you need. It’s nice to be able to rip it with your fingers too. Scrapbook.com – Clear Double Sided Adhesive Roll – 1/8 Inch x 81 Feet – Permanent – 6 Pack Glue Dots: (when you really want something to stick!) My other favourite super adhesive is Glue Dots. These mini ones on the roller are easy to use (there’s a little dial on the side that you can advance them forward with) and so handy around the house. Glue Dots – Dot n Go – Adhesive Dispenser – Mini Liquid glue: I don’t use a lot of liquid glue, but when I do I love this one from Lawn Fawn: Lawn Fawn – Glue Tube Purple Tape from Therm O Web. Every one swears this tape is perfect for holding dies when using a manual die cut machine, or holding projects together. I’m adding it to my cart!

8. STAMPS

Stamps are perfect for scrapbooking and card making and these Christmas-themed stamps will make any project just a little bit sweeter.

I can just imagine creating my own patterned Christmas tree papers with these adorable trees from Ink Road.

9. WATERCOLOURS

Watercolor Paper: 12×12 perfect for making your own scrapbook paper! This paper is a great weight and because it’s watercolor paper you can work and mix the colours to get the perfect ombre blends.

Prima – Watercolor Paper Pad – 12 x 12

Watercolors: These Kuretake Gansai watercolors will make you feel like a pro… even when you’re not!

Honestly, they are as easy to use as your kindergarten paint tray. 😉

10. ORGANIZATION

One of the biggest struggles for crafters can be keeping everything organized.

Storage for paper:

We R Memory Keepers – Stackable Paper Trays – 8 Pack

What’s on your Christmas wish list? Did I forget something you really love? Is there a tool that you’ve seen that I might love too?

Happy scrapping!

Alice.
