I don’t have epic wrapping skills, and many of my gifts have to go through the mail and will get munched, anyway, but I do enjoy making special tags. Tags can be an opportunity to get crafty on a small scale so they can be very fun and quick to make.
If you have gift peekers in your house, tags can be an opportunity to throw another obstacle in their way. Don’t put names on the gifts under the tree. Instead color code your wrapping paper or tags and don’t share the key until Christmas morning.
Here are some tags I created for gifts I mailed. Wreath tags are for one person and the snowmen tags are for her daughter. Our dog exchanges gifts with their dog so at the last minute I decided to make a Bear tag for the dog’s gift. I didn’t write on any of the tags so they can be re-purposed or hung on the tree.
Merry Christmas my friends. I wish the happiest of holidays to you and yours!
