Welcome 2026!

It is hard to believe how excited I am about my fun adventures, celebrations, reunions, and crops that I am looking forward to this year.  I plan to scrapbook these adventures not only by living them but by capturing them with my camera. This year of scrapping promises to be not only challenging, but truly fulfilling and SOOOO much fun.

High hopes and scrappy goals.

My #1 scrappy goal is to include the “stories” behind the pictures. I am rereading Alice‘s “Revealing Your Journaling”. I love her ideas and plan to use some of these ideas in creating some of my layouts.
#2 – “Christmas in January” is entered “in ink” on my calendar. I tried to be very aware of the Holiday photo opportunities and capturing the memories! Now, my Christmas 2025 will be much easier to scrap.

#3 – An important goal for me to feel like I am accomplishing things, is to complete layouts from past classes.  Not only to finish designing them, but to include journaling & photos on the pages! But even better, I WILL place my layouts into albums!!!!!!!  Ta dah! (Yes I have very lofty goals!).

#4 – Ready, Set, Go! Two parts to this goal. This fall is Ron & I’s 50th wedding anniversary. We will hopefully travel and I want to create my first ever travel journal. I have been watching videos online & also attended Stacy Julian’s Class “Go, See, Do” last fall at SLC. We were shown how to create an easy to complete & show-off type of journal. When I get this finished, I will have a 100% ready to use travel journal needing only photos, journaling & memorabilia. And, finally part 2. Going to a crop ready to scrap. I usually pack 1-week before a crop and then realize I didn’t pack the right ephemera. I then panic grab all that fits & throw into suitcases. Of course this necessitates the need to dig for hours as crop begins.  (I will blog about my newly created ADHD friendly organization ideas.)

Are you ready to jump into this fabulous happy scrappy new year? Me too! Let’s do this together with all our ScrapHappy friends, Grab a cup of tea, coffee, and or your favorite beverage (Mountain Dew). Annnnnnnd….. Let’s Get Scrapping!,
