Woohoo! Spring is here! Goodness knows it is time! I have spent a lot of time in my scrapbook room this winter working on trying to accomplish my 2026 Scrappy Goals. I have read some great Scrap Happy Blogs over the past few months and have also talked to scrappy friends about their goals and how they are planning on reaching them. My friends have opened a scrap store & want to reach their customers through both sales and teaching in-store classes. Another friend is just starting to try out some new (to her) fun techniques in scrapbooking. What are your goals in scrapbooking this year? Are you going to scrap a trip? Are you using fun new layouts with beautiful new papers? Or will you use all the kits and class supplies gathering dust? I would love to hear!
My goals were listed in the blog last month and I think I was reaching quite high with my intentions. (Let me blame it on my “I Cain’t Say No” thinking. )
1-Christmas layouts and photos also using an Alice class “Christmas in January”
2-Finish my classes and layouts from the last 3-years of classes & crops. (You may be surprised at the amount when I tell you
3. Tell the stories behind the pictures using Alice’s “Revealing Your Journaling.” @Alice Boll
4-Organized my room and supplies using what seems to work best for me. I have tried and loved seeing the “Madame Ladybug” blog and her fabulous organization using Clutter Bug. (I now know I am a BEE. (or maybe a butterfly? really hard to decide.)
Part 2 of this was to go to a crop organized and be ….. Ready to go, scrap and not needing to sit on the floor while looking for things I want to use!

I am super happy with what I have been able to accomplish. I hope that you are also enjoying your scrappy process. Here is a little video (fingers crossed it works) that shows my fun 2026 calendar album.
For these layouts I combined a class I took at SLC with Stephanie Smokavich, @Bella Blvd; and Cynthea Sandoval, @Doodle Bug; and used supplies from both companies.
I just love the colors used in these collections. (My Life 365 & Day to Day) I also fell in love with the precut titles that are found in Bella Blvd kits! Here are a few of the layouts, not in movie format, so that you can see these beautiful layouts by the designers, alongside some with personal changes I may have added (distressing, etc.). I also included a few that I thought would be fun to have ready when I am adding to this album as the year flies by!

Using these mostly finished layouts and kits added a dimension of cleanliness to my albums. While I enjoy using a lot of ink, paste, & mixing and matching collections on my layouts, the class layouts made a great combo for the album! I discovered that this also cleared out some space for new scrappy supplies in my crafty room( if I should decide I need any). LOL!
I also created a fun Christmas 2025 album using products, kits and classes that would otherwise have been just dust collectors. @Alice Boll has a few very helpful articles about scrapbooking Christmas in January & Christmas Documenting. They both really helped in creating a fabulous album that was finished by end of January. Thanks, Alice!
Here is the promised number of uncompleted projects: I decided to go through my crafty mess and found 6 mini albums from classes that are only begun, 5-6 classes from each of the last few years that I have taken at different crops and never finished, and unbelievably…… 11 incomplete @Vicky Boutin classes. (Lordy).
(Madame Ladybug @Claire Withee & @Laurie Winiarski)
Three of my incomplete VBoo classes were for Christmas … and I, of course, always buy extra supplies, just in case I need them.
To be consistent in following my goals for this year, I created a 2025 Christmas album. Using VBoo supplies and probably some – a lot of layout ideas (wink).
I loved her flipstand pages, but the flip stand really wasn’t my homes style. So I went rogue. (mwaaa haaa haaa – sorry, Vicky)
I inked, added photos, ephemera, pastes, and my own fun things, including shakers, to these fabulous pages, I enjoyed these pages so much that I wanted to add to my 12×12 Christmas layout album….interesting, hmmmmmm?????
After lots of trial and error, I decided to take page protectors & used my old, never used “We R Memory Keepers” tool that will cut and seal page protectors to make smaller differently shaped protectors. Too some practice, but these turned out adorable. I will definitely do this again.
Great new/old tool
This Tool came in really handy for creating pages that needed reshaped protectors
Some of the fun pages from Flip Frame

Also, from @Alice Boll, @Claire Withee, and @Laurie Winiarski, Try out the organization ideas thru @ClutterBug! As a BUZZZZZZZZZY BEE, it helped me!
Then, Re-read Alice’s past classes to get some great ideas of how you can have fun in your layout creation.
Finally, know you should be proud, you did it. Then you can share ideas with friends and family while enjoying & learning new scrappy things.
To finish my SH post, I wish to share my Christmas album on video and to say “keep scrapping, sharing and enjoying telling your stories! Thanks for the fun in #LOAD226 and #CalvinBall. Have a beautiful April.
