When we are young there are so many meaningful moments and accomplishments that we achieve. As we get older we still HAVE accomplishments we just aren’t always as good at identifying them!

Alice breaks down accomplishments into 5 categories and shares examples of how you’ll find your accomplishments hidden within these categories.

5 Categories of Accomplishments to Scrapbook

  1. Awards and Honours
  2. Developing New Skills
  3. Completing a Challenge
  4. Lifestyle Changes
  5. Social Accomplishments 

Awards and Honours

These are the things that most easily come to mind like:

  • graduation
  • academic awards/honours
  • admission to school
  • athletic achievements
  • playing an instrument
  • buying a house

Developing New Skills

These will feel pretty familiar too. This includes things like:

  • pottery classes
  • learning to knit/crochet or sew
  • playing guitar/piano
  • learning a language
  • learning skills for a DIY project

Completing a Challenge

These are challenges you take on, whether they are formal or informal challenges. Some examples:

  • LOAD (layout a day) scrapbooking challenge
  • marathon
  • fitness/personal goals

Lifestyle Changes

This includes a lot of things that you overcome such as:

  • bad habits/addictions
  • adversity/hardships
  • fears
  • paying off debt

Social Accomplishments

DOCUMENTING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

This includes things with a social factor such as:

  • sharing your skills
  • teaching classes
  • forgiving someone
  • making amends
  • supporting a loved one
  • prioritizing friendships
  • volunteering
