Day 26: Long Term Partnership (Marriage with Rita Wilson): Tom has often credited his wife Rita Wilson as being behind his success. You can read all about their relationship here:

Story: Make a page about a defining long term partnership. It could be a marriage, a working relationship or a long-term friendship.
Technique: Since Hanks and Wilson were married in 1988 this year marks 31 years of marriage. Your challenge today is to include 31 items on your layout! Count them as you wish!

I created my layout about my marriage with my husband. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary last year, so I chose photos that were taken of us that day. I converted them to black and white, duplicated the photos, and then arranged them as if they were scattered on the page. I used very colorful papers and embellishments to contrast with the photos. I added several pieces of word art to describe our relationship. My favorite word strip says “love birds” and then I added two small resin birds on top of it – so cute! This layout ended up having over 100 pieces (including the papers and the photos), so I went way over the “include 31 items” technique challenge. I love how the layout came out – it’s colorful, richly layered, and really captures our relationship!
